Kri\u017earka je 205 dni plula na oddaljenih obmo\u010djih, kot sta Arkti\u010dni ocean in Antarkti\u010dni polotok, na njej je bilo 6640 posameznikov, vklju\u010dno z 3698 potniki in 2942 \u010dlani posadke. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da so nalezljive bolezni predstavljale ve\u010dino pogostih obolenj na ladji, kar 43,7 %; najbolj raz\u0161irjene so bile oku\u017ebe dihal (prevalenca 63,6 %). Tak\u0161ne povzro\u010ditelje oku\u017eb na krovu prena\u0161ajo oku\u017eeni potniki pred vkrcanjem in oku\u017eeni \u010dlani posadke med postanki na kopnem.
